Editing of Portuguese/English texts
GNU will review a translated document comparing with the original for you and provide you with an opinion as to its quality and suitability for its purposes. No changes will be made to the text, but GNU will advise as to whether the text requires proofreading/editing.
Proofreading
GNU will proofread Portuguese/English translations, comparing them to the original English/Portuguese, identifying typographical mistakes and linguistic errors introduced in the process of translation. Proofreading makes virtually no changes to the text itself and it is done near the end of the translation.
GNU will review and revise translations to improve the overall style and accuracy of the text, correcting translation errors. We look at grammar and spelling, whether the message is clear and the arguments are logical, style language is consistent, appropriate, well-structured and flows properly.
